’View’ Menu (additional functions)
These functions are also provided in the shortcut menu that is opened when you right-click
the name of the application.
Functions in the list
You can select multiple entries by pressing Shift while you click the entries. Right-clicking
an entry opens a shortcut menu with functions, which depend on the context, e.g.: ’Open’,
’Copy’, ’Cut’, ’Paste’ and ’Delete’.
Double-clicking an entry has the same effect as ’Open’.
Special functions for devices and Java Web Start:
’Files in Subdirecories’ Check this option to show the subdirectories:
’Download’ This function is only available, if the Explorer is opened via Java Web
Start. It allows to copy a file from the server to the local PC.
’Rebuilt the catalog of
the device’ This function is available via the right mouse button in the ’Device’ ap-
plication.
’Rewind’, ’Go to next
entry’, ’Skip’, ’Unload’ This function is available via the right mouse button in the ’Device’ ap-
plication, if the devicetype is tape.
