6.14.10 Job Queues
A printer can print jobs from different job queues. All job queues are configured with the
Job Queue Configuration tool.
In this tab the administrator has to specify, which of the configured job queues 1-999 should
be allowed to be used by the printer. In further processing, the operator will be able to select
only the allowed queues for the printer in the Printer Administration Window.
The list shows all available job queues in the system. To allow or forbid the usage of a cer-
tain queue for the displayed printer, the checkbox in the first column has to be (de)selected.
Note: This tab is not designed to add, remove or modify a job queue in the system!
6.14.11 Cluster
The system offers a possibility to build printer cluster, which consist of more than one logical
printer. The same logical printer can also be a member of more than one cluster.
Clusters are configured with the Cluster Configuration tool. They appear as "virtual" printers
in PRISMAproduction environment.
On this tab the administrator assignes selected printers to one cluster or more than one
clusters.
The list shows all available printer clusters configured in the system. The clusters can be
defined in the PRISMAexplorer under ’Configuration’ -> ’Cluster’. To add or remove the
membership of the current printer to a cluster, the checkbox in the first column has to be
(de)selected.
