3.9.9 09 Clamp CD Width Adjustment
Perform this adjustment for the width in horizontal scanning direction of the body set.

Detail
Use this adjustment if the horizontal scanning direction is unequal on the body pages when making only
one perfect-bound book, or on the latter half of body pages when making more than one perfect-bound
book. If unequalness appears on the former half of body pages when making more than one perfect-
bound book, use 08 Sub Compile CD Width Adjustment instead.
To specify Clamp CD Width Adjustment

Touch [Adjustment] on the Machine Status Screen.
The Adjustment Menu Screen will be displayed.

Touch [04 Finisher Adjustment], [08 Perfect Binder Adjustment], and then [09 Clamp CD Width
Adjustment].
The Clamp CD Width Adjustment Screen will be displayed.

Display the required size key using up/down arrow keys to select the paper size of the body set to be
attached with the cover.

Touch [COPY] tab.
The Copy Screen will be displayed.

Select the PB tray or desired main body tray, then press [Start].
A sample pattern of perfect-bound book will be output.

Check that the horizontal scanning direction is equal on all pages of the body set.
If unequalness appears on the latter half of body pages while the former half shows equalness, proceed
to the next step.
If it is not equal on all pages, use [08 Sub Compile CD Width Adj.].
