Setting up the Océ 760C from a Windows Computer
Allow Courier Substitution
—Specify whether to substitute Courier for unavailable
fonts. When you choose Off, jobs requiring fonts unavailable on the Océ 760C hard
disk generate a PostScript error and do not print. This setting does not apply to PDF
files; font substitution occurs automatically for PDF files.
Print to PS Error
—Specify whether the Océ 760C should print the available portion of
a print job when it encounters a PostScript error. In general, this option should be No.
• When you choose No, the printing of the entire job is canceled when a PostScript
error occurs, but the processed portion of the job and the PostScript error
information are stored on the Océ 760C. You can view the job and the error
information from the job management tools.
• When you choose Yes, the portion of the job processed before the error occurred is
printed.
Color Setup
The color job defaults can be overridden on a job-by-job basis.
• A user can specify a different setting at print time from the printer driver.
• An administrator or operator can specify a different setting from the job
management tools after the job has been sent to the Océ 760C.
Color options cannot be set from remote Setup. Use local Setup or the Océ 760C
Control Panel instead. For more information on settings for color options, see the
and Appendix A of the
