IR Parameter submenu
2.
Set the IR Parameters as needed to improve video quality in varying light conditions:
a.
Set the sensitivity of the IR LED
. You can set the IR SENSITIVITY to HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW.
b.
Set the electricity level of the IR LED
. The
N/M LED CURRENT
and the
FAR LED CURRENT
refer to the
electricity level of the near/middle IR LED and far IR LED correspondingly. You can set the N/M (near/far) LED current
and the FAR LED CURRENT to HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW.
c.
IR LED switching settings
. Set the following parameters as needed:
—
REFERENCE HEIGHT
. Reference height refers to the mounting height of the speed dome. This value is for
switching between near/medium-distance IR LED and far-distance IR LED.
—
REFERENCE ZOOM
. When the actual zooming rate is larger than the reference zoom, it will switch to the far-
distance IR LED; when it’s smaller than the reference zoom, it will switch to the near/medium-distance IR LED.
—
LED CONTROL
. LED control can be set to
ALL ON
(enable all the IR LED),
FAR ON
(enable far-distance IR
LED),
NEAR ON
(enable near/medium-distance IR LED),
AUTO
(enable IR LED automatically according to the
environment illumination), and CLOSE (disable IR LED).
d.
IR LED switch delay
. The SWITCH DELAY (SEC) refers to the delay time between the switch of far-distance IR LED
and N/M-distance IR LED.
3.
Fan and heat settings
. Set the following parameters as needed:
—
FAN CONTROL
is for adjusting the temperature of the camera circuit board. You can set it to
ON
(normally on),
OFF
(normally off) or
TEMP
(change according to the temperature).
—
HEAT CONTROL
is also used to control the internal temperature of the camera in very cold environments. This parameter
can be set to
ON
(normally on),
OFF
(normally off) or
TEM
(change according to the temperature).
