Menu key
• When the appliance is plugged, the rice cooker is on “White Rice” cooking
function. When you press Menu key, the rice cooker select White Rice
Brown Rice
Lentils
Porridge
Soup
Steam
• The screen displays the default cooking time of each function, except for
White Rice, Brown Rice, Lentils. For Lentils program, you can launch the
automatic cooking mode or you can choose the manual mode by pressing
on the timer. Then the default time will appear on the screen. (Rice cooking
displays “ ”, as the cooking time will be adjusted automatically depending
on the quantity of rice you are cooking), “Start” key light flickers.
White rice cooking function
• Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant work surface away from
water splashes and any other sources of heat.
• Press “Menu” key” to select white rice cooking function.
• Measure the quantity of rice with the measuring cup provided (1 cup, 2
cups, etc). Rinse it thoroughly before you put it into the pot – fig.8. Then fill
with cold water up to the corresponding “CUP” mark printed in the pot –
fig.9.
• For example:
- If you are cooking 1 cup of rice, fill the pot with cold water until the
marking level “1”.
- If you are cooking 2 cups of rice, fill the pot with cold water until the
marking level “2”. Etc...
TIPS:
You can replace cold water by some vegetable broth or meat stock to
have a more flavorful rice.
• Close the lid.
Note: Always add the rice first otherwise you will have too much water.
• Press “Start” key, the rice cooker enters into “Rice” cooking status, the light
of “Start” pictogram lights up, the screen flicker
