Chest Strap
You can change the battery of the chest strap by the follo-
wing instructions:
1. Turn the cover with a coin counter clockwise so that the
arrow on the cover turns from Dot to Arrow.
2. Turn the cover further gently until it pops out.
3. Put aside the battery cover.
4. Remove the exhausted battery.
5. Replace the battery with a new battery, lithium type
CR2032, with the (-) side of the battery against the
metal contact.
6. Important: Make sure the sealing rubber o-ring is placed
correctly in its slot before the battery cover is closed.
7. Put the battery cover back with the arrow on the cover
points to Arrow, and then press the cover down gently
until it is on the same level with the surface.Turn the cover with the coin clockwise so
that the arrow on the cover turns from Arrow to Dot.
Cleaning and maintenance
The watch should not be exposed to extreme weather conditions or cleaning agents and
solvents. Handle the watch with care and avoid dropping or rough handling. Cleaning is
preferably done on a regular basis with soft cloth.
When cleaning the chest strap, you should start with detaching the transmitter from the
strap. Clean the transmitter with a solution of water and soap and rinse with water after-
wards. Dry with a clean towel.
Clean the elastic strap with a solution of water and soap and rinse thoroughly with water.
Dry naturally. Use neither detergent with bleach nor fabric softener.
Keep your watch and your chest strap in a cool and dry place.
