Controller Checks
The following checks should enable you to verify the condition of the Controller
modules:
1. Check the front edge LEDs as explained in
"LED Indicators" on page 4-3
.
2. Use the UniDiag software utility to check Controller health in the System Status
window. The
UniDiag Instruction Manual
explains the meanings of the System
Status window indicators.
3. If you suspect a problem, press the white reset button on the front edge of the
module using a pointed tool, or eject and reseat the module. This will reboot the
Controller and may restore normal operation. Repeat the previous steps to verify
correct LED status and System Status.
4. If none of the previous steps resolves the problem, remove the Primary Controller
and allow the Secondary Controller to take over operation (its yellow LED should
light). If the system now operates correctly, replace the faulty Controller.
5. If the problem persists, contact NVISION as explained under the heading,
"TECHNICAL SUPPORT" on page viii
near the front of this manual.
