Noise Reduction
Adjust the level of 3D noise
reduction among Off, Low,
Medium, and High.
3D noise reduction reduces
“shimmering” transmission
noise often present,
especially in terrestrial (off-
air) broadcast.
In general, a High setting
may reduce the clarity
(crispness) of the picture,
resulting in a less noisy but
slightly blurred picture.
A Medium setting should
work for most situations.
VCR Input Timing
This tool toggles timing
tolerance for VCR input
signals ON or OFF.
ON prevents picture- tearing
artifacts when video footage
from a low-end VCR is
captured by the tuner board
via an RF feed. This “fast
locking” setting helps to
correct timing problems with
VCR head switching and low-
cost RF modulators.
Leave the setting OFF (the
default) if you are not
capturing video from a low-
end VCR.
