PureVideo Decoder and attempt to configure it as the default decoder for all
applications.
If you are unsure that the NVIDIA Decoder is being used, you can check to see if
the NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder taskbar icon displays when an MPEG-2 file or
DVD is playing. You can uninstall all other decoders to ensure that the NVIDIA
PureVideo decoder is used for all MPEG-2 and DVD playback (this step is also
useful for troubleshooting purposes).
In addition, the Microsoft Windows XP Video Decoder Checkup Utility can
determine if a DVD decoder is installed on your computer and whether or not the
decoder is compatible. You can also set the priorities among the decoders if multiple

Go to Start ¾ Control Panel ¾ System.

Hardware
tab.

Select Device Manager.

Sound, video and game controllers
branch in the device tree by clicking
the + sign next to it.

NVIDIA DualTV Tuner
device and select
Properties
.

Select the Driver tab. The driver version and status are listed.
