2.4 Disconnecting the Rear Wheel

Shift to a position that allows easy access
to the shift cable hardware.
2.
Remove shift cable hardware following
steps
and

Loosen and/or remove the axle nuts (

and the no-turn washers (

) on both sides.

For rim or roller brake applications,
disconnect the rear brake according to the
manufacturer’s instructions.
4.
Remove the rear wheel.
