7.2 Changing the battery
The installed 3.7V 1200 mAh lithium polymer
battery (LiPo) may be replaced only by a
genuine replacement battery as used by us.
If necessary please contact our Product
Service (see "Product service babyphone in
Europe“ on page 116).
1. Remove the battery cover
on the back
of the parent unit
, by sliding it
downwards.
2. Remove the defective battery.
3. Put the new battery in its compartment
as indicated on the unit. Make sure you
insert it with the correct polarity (+ and -).
4. Slide the battery cover
back onto the
parent unit
.
5. Initially, charge the parent unit
continuously
for 10 hours
to activate the
full battery capacity (see "4.1 Connecting
the parent unit" on page 24).
8. Faults and how to remedy them

The baby unit and parent unit are
too far apart, or the signal is being
blocked by solid walls or other
electrical equipment
Reduce the distance or place the parent
unit somewhere else
Loud whistling
Feedback due to the parent unit
and baby unit being too close
together
Increase the distance to at least 2 – 3 m
Reduce the volume and the VOX level on
the parent unit if you are in the immediate
vicinity of the baby unit (see "6.3 Using the
VOX function to adjust the transmission
sensitivity" on page 28 and "6.4 Adjusting
the volume control" on page 29).
