Testing
After connecting to mains or switching to bat-
teries, correct transmission must be checked:
1. Turn the transmitter
sound source, e.g. a radio.
2. Take the receiver
check whether you can hear the sounds.
Please note that the receiver only comes in
after a certain minimum noise level has
been reached.
Transmitter
1. Place the transmitter
near the baby.
Warning!
Keep at a distance of one meter
minimum.
For optimum sound transfer the built-in
microphone
of the child and the aerial
upwards. Place
the transmitter as high as possible.
The transmitter has a VOX function effect. It
only transmits when a minimum noise level is
reached, i.e. when the child cries or screams.
This has several advantages:
• no transmitter emission in the non-working
state
• no constant noise level in the receiver
• saves batteries.
Receiver
1. Place the receiver
You can either stand it on a level surface, fix
it to your belt by the clip
wall. For optimum reception the aerial
should always point upwards.
As soon as the transmitter picks up sounds you
will hear them out of the loudspeaker
. In
addition, the LED luminous band
up more or less depending on the volume of
the sounds being picked up by the transmitter.
2. Set the desired volume at the volume
control
.
