FAQs

How many local extensions can DoorPad have?

A single DoorPad can have up to (10) local extensions, enough to 

allocate an extension for each of your family member. 

How can I manage the local numbers I assign to my family members?

You simply need to go to nexportals.com and use the NEX Asterisk 

Features we discussed earlier. The portion about Users should allow 

you to assign a particular local number to a specific User.

Can I use third party communication applications?

Yes. With the DoorPad’s OS running on android, you can add popular 

communication applications from the Google Play Store. This allows 

you  to communicate with contacts from other applications on the 

same platform.

Can I include a handset with the DoorPad?

Yes. Sold as a separate accessory, you may include a handset with the 

DoorPad. This is perfect for hotel and resort application as DoorPad 

also has a number of call features.

How do I connect the DoorPad to the internet?

1. Swipe down at the top right hand side of the DoorPad screen.

2. Tap WiFi

3. Tap the network you want your device to connect

Note: Take note of the IP Address as it is needed for SIP Account Details
