• In the Outgoing Calling Rules press “+ New Calling Rule”
1. Set the Calling Rule Name
2. Design a Pattern that will be used (e.g: _5XXX where 5 is the prefix
and X is any number between 0-9, if a dialed number has a prefix of 5
and has a number of digits of 4 it will trigger this calling rule)
3A. Tick this Checkbox to create a calling rule for local destination
3B. Select a Trunk to create calling rule for a SIP trunk.
4. Select a local destination (note: direct destination may not work,
please use ring group instead)
5. Save then Apply Changes
Outgoing Calling Rules
To Create a New Outgoing Call Rule
Calling Rules define dialing permissions and routing rules.
An outgoing calling rule pairs an extension pattern with a trunk used
to dial the pattern. This allows different patterns to be dialed through
different trunks (e.g. “local” 7-digit dials through an FXO but “long
distance” 10-digit dials through a low-cost SIP trunk). Note that this
panel manages only individual outgoing call rules. See the Dial Plans
section to associate multiple outgoing calling rules to be used for User
outbound dialing.
