Chapter 3 - Setup and Installation

Direct Attach Connection - Single Host (Dual HBAs)

Power on your system, refer to “Powering On the Storage System” on

page 41.

This completes the setup and cabling of this configuration.

Direct Attach Connection - Single Host (Dual HBAs)

Complete the storage system installation.

Connect the FC data cable(s).

Connect one cable from the Host HBA FC port to the left “H0” connector

on the RAID Controller.

Connect a second cable from a second Host HBA FC port or the second

FC port of a dual ported HBA to the right “H1” connector on the RAID

Controller.

Power on your system, refer to “Powering On the Storage System” on

page 41.

This completes the setup and cabling of this configuration.
