4.8 Network setup
The
NETWORK SETUP
menu allows to configure network settings. Before configuration, please
contact your network administrator in order to settle proper and allowed network parameters, which
will be adjusted in this menu.
(1)
IP ADDR
:
unique IP address within the network;
(2)
GETAWAY
:
Internet getaway for external network connections;
(3)
SUB NET
:
in this option subnet mask can be selected;
(4)
IP MODE
:
addressing (IP) mode selection:
STATIC
-manual parameter settings,
DHCP
- automatic parameter settings, provided automatically by
DHCP Server, in this option first 3 positions are unimportant;
(5)
NETWORK ENV
:
this function is used for network type selection. According to
selected network type various bandwidths are available
.
It helps to fit
data transmission to network capacity.
If this option is set to
CROSSOVER
up to 4.5Mbit/s data transfer
is available.
If this option is set to
LAN
up to 2.5Mbit/s data transfer is available.
If this option is set to
WAN
up to 1.5Mbit/s data transfer is available.
(6)
NETWORK CHANNEL:
this option enables for channels selection, which will be transmitted
via network. In default settings all channels are transmitted via
network
.
(7)
HTTP PORT
:
network port selection (
0~6500
), which is used for image
transmission;
(8)
STREAM PORT
:
network port selection (
0~6500
), which is used for control
commands transmission;
CAUTION: please make sure that in case of external network connection both ports are opened and/or
properly rerouted onto network devices.
