15.1. Computer Connection of the Chemotronic III
During the starting phase of WinTURBI the program tries to communicate with the
instrument via USB automatically. That's why the operator should make sure that
the Chemotronic III has been switched on and the serial cable is connected to the
instrument and computer before starting WinTURBI. For full function access the
operator button on the rear side of the instrument should be turned to LAB-mode.
If the WinTURBI cannot communicate with the instrument, further trials are
available by pressing the
Chemotronic/Connect
button into the menu bar. By
pressing
Chemotronic/Disconnect
the communication will be finished and the
computer port is available for other applications.
