Click GroupWise > Optional Gateway Settings to display the Optional Gateway Settings
page.

In the Directory Sync/Exchange field, select Both.

Click Apply to save the setting.

Click Required Parameters to display the Required Parameters page.

Make sure that the GroupWise Foreign Domain and Notes ID Password fields are filled in, as
described in
“Setting Required Parameters” on page 36 .
When you provided this information during the initial configuration before installation of the
Notes Gateway software, the foreign (non-GroupWise) domain was created automatically
when you first started the Notes Gateway. Under the non-GroupWise domain, an external post
office was created for each Notes domain and given the same name as the corresponding
Notes domain. However, no user information was transferred at that time.
