Troubleshooting
Symptoms and Possible Causes
Before calling your dealer for service, please read through this
section. You will most likely be able to resolve an issue more
quickly than the dealer or factory can.
Look for your particular symptom in the table below. If you don’t
see it, look through the Setup Menu for your display beginning
on page 8.
Symptom
Possible Cause
No Display
Check that the display is receiving power by mea-
suring the voltage on the power cord.
Check that the Data/Video source is powered up
and running.
Check the Data/Video source using some other
display.
Picture is
“snowy”
Check the Data/Video source using some other
display.
Check for cable routing of both video and data
cables. They could be near noise sources such as
inverters, radars, etc.
Picture doesn’t
look right
Check in the “Adjusting the Display” section
below.
Image is not
Centered on the
Screen
For the 1201, check the image position in
the image adjust setup. See page 11.
For the 1202, see the Position icon in the
Setup Menu on page 13.
