Cowl
1.
Trial
fit
the
cowl
in
place.
Note
where
the
mounting
tabs
extend
forward
of
F1.
2.
Carefully
tape
the
cowl
in
place
using
blue
low
‐
tack
painter’s
masking
tape
and
mark
where
to
drill
pilot
holes
for
the
mounting
screws

Carefully
drill
4
pilot
holes,
one
per
tab,
using
a
1/16”
drill
bit.
Then
remove
the
cowl.

Enlarge
the
holes
in
the
cowl
slightly.
This
will
allow
the
screws
to
pass
freely
in
and
out
of
the
cowl.
5.
Enlarge
the
holes
in
the
plywood
mounting
tabs
to
allow
a
½”
piece
of
yellow
inner
nyrod
(not
supplied)
to
fit
into
the
holes
snugly.
Glue
the
yellow
nyrod
into
the
holes
with
epoxy
and
ensure
the
nyrod
is
flush
to
the
outside
of
the
mounting
tab
(this
is
the
side
that
will
come
in
contact
with
the
cowl.
6.
Before
mounting
the
cowl,
use
a
screw
and
screw
it
into
each
nyrod
end
to
establish
threads
on
the
inside
of
the
nyrod.
