Meridian External Alerter and Recording Interface (MEARI)
Install the MEARI in the small dock of a M3902, M3903, M3904, or
M3905 set. There are three output connectors on the back of the
MEARI cartridge. There is no need to disconnect the power supply from
the telephone prior to insertion or extraction of the MEARI cartridge.
Figure 12 shows the MEARI output connectors.

Install the MEARI
1 The RJ12 modular connector provides access to all three output signals and
is intended for wiring connection to remotely located equipment (not on the
desktop). Table 18 shows the connections.

Note: Wiring connected to the MEARI must not go outside a building for safety purposes.
