Note: During the upgrade process the Expec is not available through telnet. If
someone tries to log in during the upgrade, the system displays an error message
(see Figure 38). The only way to abort/stop the upgrade process is to bsy;rts the
EIPE at the MAP.

TIP: If the customer defines unique names for each switch technician, the
name are echoed here. This is the name of the user who started a session
on that Expec.
2 If a firmware download fails, you can test the different stages of the process.
Try downloading the firmware from Meridian SL-100 to Expec Ram with the
Add Load button (see
Figure 39 on page 124 ).
