Now start searching for nearby Bluetooth devices on your external device. You may need to
enable the Bluetooth feature on your external device first.
You can find out how to activate the Bluetooth function and carry out a search on your
external device by consulting the instruction manual for your external device.
The two devices should be within 10 cm of each other during the pairing process.

The entry
Transita 30
should now appear in the list of Bluetooth devices found on your
external device. Tap on the name of the radio to complete the pairing process. If the pairing
process is successful, a confirmation tone sounds from the speaker on the Transita 30, and
the display shows
[Connected]
.
If the pairing process stops, or if “Pairing mode” is not displayed, hold down the
Scan
button
until “Pairing mode” appears on the display. This method can also be used to unpair a
paired device.
Depending on the Bluetooth protocol of your external device, you may be able control the
music playback using the
Tune/Select
knob on the Transita 30. Turn the knob to the right
to skip to the next track. Turn it to the left to play the current track again or to skip to the
previous track. Press the
Scan
button to pause/play the playback.
9 Bluetooth
In Bluetooth mode, you can enjoy music from a connected smartphone or tablet via the Transita
30's speakers. For this purpose, the two devices must first be "paired" to each other.
9.1 Switching to Bluetooth mode
>
Change to Bluetooth mode by pressing the
MODE
button.
>
[Bluetooth]
is shown on the display.
When switching on for the first time, an external device (smartphone/tablet) must first be
paired with the device.
If an external device has already been paired and is in range, a connection is generated
automatically. Depending on the connected device, music playback may start automatically.
