7.9 Manual setting
This menu item is used to check the reception channels and can be used to align the antenna. This
saves new stations to the station list.
>
Open the menu by holding down the
Menu/Info
button and use the
Tune/Select
knob to
select the
[Manual setting]
menu item. Press the
Tune/Select
knob to confirm.
>
Select a channel (5A to 13F) using the
Tune/Select
knob. Its signal intensity will now be
shown on the display. If a DAB+ station is being received on a channel, the station ensemble
name is displayed. The antenna can now be aligned to the maximum signal intensity.
Stations with a signal strength below the required minimum signal intensity (mark) are not
transmitting a strong enough signal. Align the telescopic antenna as described in Section
5.3.2 if required.
7.7 Overwriting/deleting a station memory slot

Simply save a new station in a Favourites memory slot as described.
When retrieving the factory settings all memory slots are deleted.
7.8 Signal strength

Briefly press the
Menu/Info
button repeatedly until the signal strength bar is displayed.
Stations with a signal strength below the required minimum signal intensity (mark) are not
transmitting a strong enough signal. Align the telescopic antenna as described in Section
5.3.2 if required.
