Lighting instructions
MANUEL IGNITION
NB! Make sure to insert an AA-battery (not included)
in the ignitor.

ALWAYS KEEP LID OPEN WHEN LIGTHING THE
GRILL

Check that all controls are in the ”OFF” position.

Open the gas supply valve on the regulator.

Push in the leftmost control knob and turn it
to full power. Press the ignition knob until the
grill is lit. If the burner fail to lit within 5 seconds,
shut down the gas supply and wait 5 minutes, then,
repeat the procedure.

If the burner will not ignite after repeatedly
attempts, use a match and do a manual ignition.

When the first burner is lit, ignite the remaining
burners, starting from left to right. Ignite one
burner at a time by turning the knob to max. Make
sure one burner is lit before igniting another.

Always preheat the grill on max temperature for
10 minutes (lid must be closed) before placing
food on the cooking grid.
If the grill will not light using the
normal lighter, use the following
procedure for manual lighting.
Use a long match or lighter.
1. Always keep lid open during
lighting.
3. Place a match between the
coils on the end of the lighting
rod, light the match and insert it
into the hole of firebox to ignite.
4. Push and turn the knob to
“MAX” position, and make sure
the burner lights and stays
lighted.
5.Repeat 3~4 to light other
burners.
TURNING OFF THE GRILL
Turn all control valves to the
“Off” position, then switch off the gas
supply at the bottle.
Wait until the barbecue is sufficiently cool
before closing the hood.
NEVER DOUSE THE
GRILL WITH WATER
WHEN THE SURFACES
ARE HOT.
IF THE GRILL WILL NOT LIGHT USING
NORMAL OR MANUAL LIGHTING,
REFER TO THE TIPS SECTION IN THE
TROUBLESHOOTING MANUAL, OR
CONTACT YOUR DEALER.

Flames should be blue
and stable. If the flames are
large and yellow, flaring or
’broken’, check the
troubleshooting manual.
