Installing, Replacing, and
Configuring the
Nokia Encryption Accelerator
Card

The Nokia IP2255 appliance supports the Nokia encryption accelerator card
in the Nokia accelerated data path (ADP) card format. The Nokia encryption
accelerator card provides high-speed cryptographic processing that enhances
performance.

The Nokia encryption accelerator card has no external ports or LEDs and
requires no cables. When you specify that a Nokia encryption accelerator card
is to be included with a Nokia appliance, the card is installed before the
appliance is delivered to you.
