Observe if the surroundings of the
machine and the working area are
clear before you put it in operation.
Keep animals and people at a safe
distance. Special care must be
taken if there are children nearby.
Verify if there are no tools or other
objects inside the hopper, screw or
any machine parts.
Certify that all people who are
responsible for operating the
machine have read and understood
all operating, maintenance as well
as safety information, described in
this manual.
Keep all spectators, especially
children, at a safe distance from
the machine whenever authorized
personnel are performing
maintenance work.
Install and fixate all safety
protections before you start.
Keep your hands, feet, hair
and clothes away from moving
parts. Keep spectators at a safe
distance.
Keep yourself away from rotating
or moving parts.
Keep a safe distance from the
power grid. Electrocution might
occur without having direct
contact.
Keep hoses and hydraulic
connections tight, in good state
and free of leakage.
Revise all safety instructions from
time to time.
BEFORE YOU TURN ON THE
MACHINE
OPERATION
Turn on the tractor and activate the PTO until it
reaches 540rpm in the PTO. Leave the tractor
engine in neutral position. (Remember that the
tractor brakes are not used, only the Bagger
ones.)
Activate the lever from the tractor’s remote
control and turn on the conveyor belt’s hydraulic
engine.
Activate the brakes from your Bagger. It is
recommended to start the operation with a brake
pressure from 30 to 40 bar.
Start the feeding, unloading the forage onto the
machine conveyor belt.
As the bag gets filled, the assembly – machine/
tractor starts moving forward.
Allow the machine to move forward approximately
2 meters.
With a tape measure to help you, measure the
recommended lengthening indicated on the
scale, which is printed on the bag. Do not exceed
the bag’s maximum lengthening recommended
by the manufacturer. In case the lengthening is
low (when the bag is loose), you should increase
the pressure on the Bagger brakes. If the bag
is overstretched, decrease the pressure on the
Bagger brakes. (See instructions to regulate
brakes pressure on item ADJUSTING THE
BRAKES in this manual).
Keep hoses, brake pads and the hydraulic pump
in good work conditions.
