The measurement place parameters need to be set prior to installation. Appropriate prepara-
tion measures and the measurement place dimensions can be taken from the respective
plant documents.

Information on how to set measurement place parameters can be found in
chapter “Parameter Setting” starting at page 57.
25 Installation of Sensors
25.1 Cable for Sensor Connection
The sensors are equipped with a permanently attached cable.
25.2 Sensor Connection
A list of connectable flow velocity sensors can be found in chapter “16.2 Connectable Sen-
sors/Devices”.
25.2.1 Connecting Sensors directly to NivuFlow Mobile
The sensors can be connected on the reverse side of the NivuFlow Mobile unit to sockets v1,
v2/h or Multi I/O. A maximum of three sensors in total can be connected directly to the
NivuFlow Mobile simultaneously with only one connecting option per sensor type. Not more
than one CSM/CSP/NPP flow velocity sensor (Fig. 25-1), one DSM-L0 (Fig. 25-2) level sen-
sor and one i-Series/NivuBar Plus (Fig. 25-3) sensor can be connected directly.
