Selection of Echo within the measuring window
FACTORY DEFAULT: 0
A so-called measuring window is formed around the echo
signal. The position of this measuring window determines the
flight time for calculation of the distance of the target. (the
picture below can be seen on the test oscilloscope).
Some applications involve multiple ( disturbing)
echoes even within the measuring window. Basic echo
selection will be done by the Quest + software automatically.
This parameter only influences the echo selection within the
measuring window.

Use these parameters to provide additional protection against echo loss in applications involving dust during the filling process (powders, dusting
granules). Reliability of the measurement can be enhanced by the correct setting of this parameter.
These parameters must not be smaller than the fastest possible filling/emptying rate of the actual technology.
Caution!
In tanks with a conical or pyramidal bottom, the rate of change of level at the bottom of the tank increases significantly.
