Actions
• Vacuum in the dusts using supplied plate and vacuum
cleaner. (P. 70, 71)
• Use objective with high numerical aperture.
• To obtain identical total magnification, use of higher
magnification objective gives higher resolution and
contrast to the image.
• Upper limit of effective total magnification is between
500 and 1000 times of objective's numerical aperture.
Photograph blurs if taken beyond this range.
• Darken surrounding environment or cover eyepieces
with caps.
• Do not expose microscope or sample to hazardous,
strong light such as direct sunlight.
• Use NCB11 filter. (P. 56)
• Spectral sensitivity of daylight-type film differs
considerably from type to type or from manufacturer to
manufacturer.
• Varieties of film of identical brand often exhibit
different color development due to difference in
emulsion used. Note emulsion number of each film for
such difference.
• Perform photomicrography at specified voltage. (P. 60)
• Color development is adversely affected by inadequate
exposure time as it causes failure in film reciprocy.
Use an exposure time display meter and ND filters to
adjust exposure time which suits film characteristics.
Or use color compensation filters to compensate for
film reciprocy failure. (Refer to Data Sheet on the film.)
• It is a good idea to consult with developing house
about film characteristics when preparing color prints.
• Replace fuse.
• Connect power cable to AC IN line receptable.
• Use 1N250 V fuse.
