(]) When making exposure with the
eyes off the binocular eyepieces:
---· (j) Touch the RST key if the film end LED also
blinks.
®
When the CHECK display LED also blinks at
"E" (Error), the shutter is locked because the
shutter or built-in prism is in abnormal
condition.
If
this LED does not stop blinking
when the RST key is touched, contact your
Nikon representative.
---• The shutter is locked because exposure time is
under or over the measuring range. Rotate the
lamp intensity control dial of the microscope to
change the lamp intensity. Or use appropriate
ND filters to adjust the brightness for color
photomicrography.
---► The shutter is locked because of failure in
operation or malfunction. If this LED does not
stop blinking when the RST key is touched,
contact your Nikon representative.
---• Touch the RST key. Confirm whether or not the
DX cables are connected properly when this LED
blinks each time the film advances.
---• ISO value and EXP. ADJ values are initialized as
follows.
• When DX code film is loaded:
ISO value= Value read out from the film.
EXP. ADJ value= Value last set.
• When film with no DX code or large format
film is loaded:
ISO value= Value last set. (The value set
before the usage of DX code film.)
EXP. ADJ value= Value last set.
---• The battery needs to be recharged. Clean its polar
plates with a clean, dt1 cloth and recharge it.
Tum on the power switch to recharge. It is fully
charged in 3 - 4 hours.
---• If
possible, perform photomicrography in a semi
dark room. For long exposure time, before
touching the EXP key, put the supplied caps on
the binocular eyepieces to prevent light from
entering.
® When using the hand-held switch: ---•
The EXP key does not work while the hand-held
switch is being used.
