6. Storing
When finishing the operation, follow the procedure below.
Check if the trimmer blade is damaged.
Put on gloves before cleaning.
Clean the trimmer blade. Wipe dirt, etc. off with a cloth.

Be sure to clean the trimmer blade. If it is not cleaned, dust, dirt, cuttings or grease could be
hardened, and the hedge trimmer will not be able to start for the next time.
Clean the hedge trimmer. Wipe off the dirt or stain with a cloth, etc.

Pay extra attention to the cooling fin in the cylinder of the engine. It is high in temperature.
Install the trimmer blade guard.
Discharge the fuel from the fuel tank and clean the tank.
Keep the engine operated until the carburetor is dried.
Stop the engine, and store the hedge trimmer in the following place.
(a) Locked place
(b) High place out of reach of children and other unauthorized person
(c) Dried and cool dark place
