Make sure that the engine is stopped and put the fuel in the fuel tank.
Securely tighten the tank cap.
● Fuel to be used
NTP-26, NTA-26N, NTA-35N
Mixed oil of gasoline and 2-cycle oil (FC grade for
mixing) in a ratio of 50 to 1
NTP-26H, NTA-26HN, NTA-35HN
Gasoline 100%
Check the surroundings.
● Make sure that there is no person, animal or obstruction around the hedge trimmer.
● Make sure that the trimmer blade is not contacted with the ground, trees or obstructions.
Slowly push the priming pump [2]
several times until the fuel reaches the
overflow tube (yellow or pink fuel tube)
[1].
Perform the following.
NTP-26, NTA-26N, NTA-35N
(1) Make sure that the engine is sufficiently
cooled down, and then rotate the lift up
lever [3] in the direction indicated by
the arrow.
Note
●
When the throttle trigger is gripped,
the lift up lever will automatically be
returned to the original position.
●
Do not push down the lift up lever when
the engine is already hot or on a hot
day.
