7.5.6 Hole depth
Purpose: Adjusting hole depth

Jig: Plastic/flat lens
1. Drill a lens.
1) Press the Polish button while pressing
to call up the internal data for drill
adjustment (holde depth). [Lex 1000]
2) Set a plastic/flat lens in the Lex 1000, close
the lens chuck, and press . [Lex 1000]
3) When lens measurement is completed,
remove the lens and set it in the Lex Drill.
4) Press the START button to drill the lens.
2. Check the number of holes drilled in the lens.
1) When there are seven holes, decrease the
Hole depth parameter by 0.5 and drill a
lens again.
2) When there are no holes, increase the
Hole depth parameter by 0.5 and drill a
lens again.

Hole 1: Depth -0.3, Auto angle (drilled through)
Hole 4: Depth 0.0, Auto angle (drilled through)
Hole 7: Depth +0.3, Auto angle (drilled through)
The depths of holes 1 to 7 increase from
-0.3 to +0.3 in increments of 0.1.
