Adjust the position of the mercury collector tube.

Align the end of the heater with the hollows of the mercury collector tube.

Adjust the position using the insertion depth of the Teflon joint.

Fix the Teflon joint firmly.

Connect the reducing joint to the mercury collector tube, and tighten the nut.

Tighten the reducing joint lightly by hand and then retighten it using a wrench by 1/6

to 1/4 turn.

* If the joint is tightened too strongly, it may be damaged.
