Using the “interface” command, set the IP address of the MXL interface or
enable bridging mode.
Note:
When the MXL interface is active, ports that are bonded into the MXL interface
will train.
Usage Examples:
(conf)# interface mx0 bridge enable
(conf)# interface mx0 ip unnumbered
To verify your changes, use the “show interface” command.

Once the MXL interface is enabled, you can not set bonded ports as an individual
port with the “interface” command. In this case, the router will send an error message as
soon as you try to place already configured ports into a MXL interface.
