DOOR (b)
The light comes on when the door is
opened. After closing all doors, the light
will remain on for about 15 seconds and
then fade out. If you insert the key, or press
the engine switch to change the ignition
mode to “ACC” or “ON” during this time,
the light will start to fade out immediately.
After removing the key from the ignition
switch or press the engine switch to
change the ignition mode to “LOCK”, the
light will turn on for about 15 seconds and
then fade out.
NOTE:
If you leave any door open, the light will
automatically be turned off after about 15
minutes to prevent the battery from dis-
charging.
OFF (c)
The light remains off even when the door is
opened.

Each front door has a courtesy light on its
inside bottom. It lights automatically when
the door is opened.
NOTE:
If you leave any door open, the light will
automatically be turned off after about 15
minutes to prevent the battery from dis-
charging.
Luggage Compartment

When you open the tailgate with the lug-
gage compartment light switch in the “ON”
position (1), the light comes on for about
15 minutes.
When the luggage compartment light
switch is in the “OFF” position (2), the light
remains off regardless of whether the tail-
gate is open or close.
