Appendix 5: Parameter Programming Examples
The following examples show you how to program parameters by scanning programming barcodes.
a. Program the Decode Session Timeout
Example: Set the decode session timeout to 1500ms
1. Scan the

barcode.

Decode Session Timeout
barcode. (See the
“Decode Session Timeout” section in Chapter
3)
3. Scan the numeric barcodes
“1”, “5”, “0” and “0”.
4. Scan the

b. Program the Time Period from Idle to Sleep
Example: Set the time period from idle to sleep to 500ms
