Mill functions
When you have entered all the parameters:
1.
Press .
This opens the Data Entry screen.
2.
Enter a name for your pattern, and press
.
You return to the parameters screen.
3.
Press
.
This opens a graphical display showing the arrangement of the
holes. You can use
and
to move around the holes.
Slot
Slotting is a simple milling function similar to the arc functions, but in a
straight line. The parameters required are:
•
Pattern starting point coordinates.
•
Angle.
•
Slot length.
•
Diameter of tool. (Default value comes from the Tool Setup.)
•
Maximum cut.
•
Depth.
•
Plane (X-Y, X-Z or Y-Z).
