When the Controller has been configured for use with your application, the controller settings
(configuration) should be stored to disk for later use.
When a configuration is saved, configuration data, such as control loop names, loop calibrations,
P-I-D values, and alarm settings are saved. Current values, trend data, and setpoints of the
control loops in the process are not saved.
When a configuration is loaded from the disk, all current controller configurations will be
overwritten (effectively deleted).
9.1 Saving a Configuration
To save a controller configuration:
1. From the
MAIN DISPLAY SCREEN
, click on the Config. button.
2. The
CONFIGURATION SCREEN
will appear. Click on the Save button.
3. The
SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
password prompt will appear (unless the System
Configuration password is set to blanks). Enter the password and click on OK .
4. The
SAVE CONFIGURATION
window will appear (see sample below). Select the
desired drive and directory. Enter the appropriate filename in the text area.
5. Click on OK to save the file.
6. To return to the
MAIN DISPLAY SCREEN ,
click on Close in the
CONFIGURATION
SCREEN
.
