5.3 Connecting the Plug-In Transformer
Before connecting the
PLUG-IN TRANSFORMER
to the unit, verify that all connections to
the controller are correct and secure. The controller is a passive device: it has no on/off
switch.
When the
PLUG-IN TRANSFORMER
is connected properly to the controller and to the
power supply, the pilot light on the rear panel will illuminate.
To connect the
TRANSFORMER
to the
CONTROLLER
( with reference to Figure 1, repeated
below ):
1. Connect the
PLUG-IN TRANSFORMER
into the
POWER JACK
on the rear panel of the
CONTROLLER
.
2. Plug the
PLUG-IN TRANSFORMER
securely into a power strip or wall outlet.
3. The green
PILOT LIGHT
will illuminate, indicating that the unit is on.
