Network Protocols Setup
These screens allow you to configure your network’s use of the standard networking protocols:
■
IP: details are given in
“IP Setup, Smar tIP and Network Address Translation” on page 10-1
.
■
IPX: details are given in
“IPX Setup” on page 11-1.
■
AppleTalk: details are given in
“AppleTalk Setup” on page 12-1.
Note: AppleTalk requires the optional AppleTalk feature expansion kit.
Filter Sets (Firewalls)
These screens allow you to configure security on your network by means of filter sets and a basic firewall.

IP Address Serving
These screens allow you to configure IP Address ser ving on your network by means of DHCP, WANIP, BootP, and
with the optional AppleTalk kit, MacIP.

.
Date and Time
You can set the system’s date and time in the
Set Date and Time
screen.
Select
Date and Time
in the System Configuration screen and press Return to go to the Set Date and Time
screen.
Follow these steps to set the system’s date and time:
Set Date and Time
System Date Format: MM/DD/YY
Current Date (MM/DD/YY): 3/16/1998
System Time Format: AM/PM
Current Time: 10:29
AM or PM: AM
