From the Network Authentication pull-down menu, select
Open System
or
Shared Key

From the Data Encryption pull-down menu, select
64 bit WEP

6. Passphrase
. To use a passphrase to generate the WEP keys, enter a word or group of
characters, and click
Generate Keys
. The four key fields will be automatically populated with
key values. You can also enter the keys manually.

Note:
The authentication scheme is separate from the data encryption. You can select
an authentication scheme that requires a shared key but still leaves the data
transmissions unencrypted. If you require strong security, use both the Shared
Key and WEP encryption settings.
