2.6 Appliance Rear Panel
The appliance assembly includes an integral rear panel, incorporating an appliance ID LED (blue),
shown in
Figure 2–5 on page 15 . This LED is activated by the button on the Ops Panel or by system
software, and can be used to identify the server from among other units.
Important The Rear Panel is an integral part of the appliance chassis assembly and is not field replaceable.
2.7 Power Supply Unit
AC/DC power is provided by two commercial dual-redundant Power Supply Units.
A Power Supply Mounting Cage is fitted in the rear of the appliance. The cage houses two individually
hot-pluggable 850W AC Power Supply Units (PSUs), each with its own IEC inlet connector and failure
indicator.
