12.8 Door panels
To make it easier to clean the door panels, you can re-
move the appliance door.
Removing the door panels
WARNING ‒ Risk of injury!
Scratched glass in the appliance door may develop
into a crack.
▶
Do not use glass scrapers, sharp or abrasive clean-
ing aids, or harsh cleaning products.
The hinges on the appliance door move when the door
is opened and closed, which could trap your fingers.
▶
Keep your hands away from the hinges.
Components inside the appliance door may have sharp
edges.
▶
Wear protective gloves.

Open the appliance door slightly.
2.
Press on the left- and right-hand sides of the cover.
3.
Remove the cover.
4.
Undo and remove the screws on the left and right of
the appliance door.
5.
Fold a tea towel over several times, place it between
the appliance and the appliance door and then
close the appliance door.
6.
Pull the door panel up to remove it, and set it down
on a flat surface with the door handle facing down.
7.
Clean the door panels with glass cleaner and a soft
cloth.
Refitting the door panels
WARNING ‒ Risk of injury!
The hinges on the appliance door move when the door

Note:
You cannot use your appliance again until the
panels have been correctly fitted.

at the bottom.
