3 CLEANING
3.1 Cleaning of the rollers
You have decided to clean your machine, we encourage your
initiative that will afford you the advantages below:
- improved paper taking in the document, insert and envelope
feeders.
- reduced jam risks,
- protection of the roller rubber.
To clean your machine, you will have to stop it for
a while, in particular for the drying of the rollers,
which requires at least 10 minutes.
During a cleaning operation, we recommend you
to clean the whole machine (feeders used and
folding rollers). This will optimize the functioning
of your machine.
It is essential to empty the documents from all the
feeders (including the envelopes) prior to any
cleaning procedure; otherwise, you will not have
access to the cleaning screen. Be sure to check the
F feeder (concealed feeder).
