2. JOB MEMORY SAVING
2.1 Storing in user memory "0"
After selections have been made (postage value, advertisement
slogan, mail class die, moistening, shift, etc.) it is possible to take a
“software snapshot” of the machine status. To do so, press key
M
twice. The whole configuration is automatically stored into memory
“ 0 ” (this operation overwrites the previous content in memory 0).
This operation may be very useful when a job in progress has
to be interrupted (e.g.: a few items of another type need to be
processed as a priority, a phone call, etc.). You can restore the
machine to the previous status by recalling memory “0”.
2.2 Recalling memories
To recall a memory, simply press key M ; the list of active
memories is displayed:
HOME OK
JOB MEMORIES
0 USER JOB MEMORY
1 MARKETING
2 MODEM INFORMATION
3 DESIGN
0 USER JOB MEMORY
STORE
Then key in the memory number, using numeric keys from 0 to 9 .
Memories 1 to 9 are preprogrammed by the supervisor -
see "Programming memories 1 to 9".
Remember that when a new scale rate is loaded onto the
machine, any previous rate detail stored in the memory is NOT
automatically updated - please recheck the memory details after
a scale rate change.
