1.
Remove middle shield following instructions in this section.
2.
Remove three screws that hold the bottom shield to the bottom cover.
3.
Remove 20-conductor ribbon cable from CN2.
4.
Remove 2-conductor speaker cable on CN1.
5.
Lift bottom shield free.
6.
Remove four screws that fasten CPU PCB to bottom shield. (A fifth
screw holds the mylar insulation in place; you can leave this screw
fastened.)

Rear Panel Assembly
The rear panel assembly has a left and a right member; these members
fasten to the AC power inlet and control assembly. Here is how to remove the
rear panel assembly:
1.
Remove bottom shield following instructions in this section.
2.
Disconnect AC filter ground lead from transformer rear most
transformer bracket stud.
3.
Lift rear panel (including AC power inlet assembly) up and out.
Fuse in the AC Power Inlet Assembly
The two fuses for the monitor are installed in respective fuse holders that are
part of the AC power inlet and control assembly. To replace a fuse:
