Procedure

With the external battery connected and operating the ventilator,
press the

BATTERY TEST

button on the front panel and observe the

BATTERY CONDITION

indicator on the meter. The needle should be in

the

NORMAL

HIGH

range.

Check the external battery hookup. Make certain the cable con-
nections are correct and the terminals are not corroded.

The external battery will be charged by the ventilator in any

MODE

position. The ventilator will fully charge a 12 V deep cycle

battery, in good condition, in approximately three hours of
charge time for each hour of use.

For faster charging time, disconnect the battery from the ventila-
tor and attach it to an appropriate external charging device.

With the internal battery operating, disconnect AC power and
the external battery from the ventilator.

Press the
